St Peter’s by Night

I’m excited to tell you that I have donated two matted prints to “An Artisan’s Affair” to be held at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Shepherdstown, WV on Sunday, June 1. This is a fund-raising luncheon in aid of breast cancer awareness, and will also feature a silent auction of art / craft work, and guest speakers – Tony and Jonna Mendez.

My available prints are each printed on archival 100% cotton rag paper and are matted in an 11 x 14″ white mat, to display an 8 x 10″ image.  One is of St Peter’s by Night, and the other is German Street in November.  There will also be lots of other wonderful art and craft work to bid on.

And the Guest Speakers?

Tony Mendez … sound familiar?

He was the inspiration behind the movie “Argo” which follows his daring rescue of those who escaped the US Embassy during the hostage crisis in Iran. Defying his orders to abandon those hiding in the Canadian Ambassador’s residence, he successfully led them through the security at Tehran Airport, and home to safety.

… sounds to be an exciting prospect, and I hope to see you there!
