Choose Welcome

So, today I have been working on an image to capture the meaning of my church. At SPC we choose welcome! I was inspired to complete this work by the retirement of our pastor, Randy Tremba, who is leaving after over 40 years in the job. Randy, this one is for you!...

Sanlúcar de Guadiana, a Spanish village

Sanlúcar de Guadiana - travel through time and space! My latest work features the Spanish village of Sanlúcar de Guadiana, in the Spanish province of Huelva. From here you can take the Límite Zero zipline across the river to Alcoutim, in Portugal. This is the only...

A new adventure... Today I am starting a new course run by my mentor, Sebastian Michaels - 21 Days to Creative Abundance. Much credit for my artistic style goes to Sebastian's Photoshop Artistry courses. Totally addictive, Sebastian's courses are truly a "purchase...

Urban Greenery

Maybe it's because I am somewhat vertically challenged, but when I am exploring a city I always find that my eyes are drawn upward. Seeking the light, and the angles of the rooflines. But sometimes it leads to a pleasant surprise. This urban greenery - trees and...

Plans for 2017 – this is it!

Taking the plunge So, what are my plans for 2017? Well, in less than 2 weeks I shall retire from my 30+ year career as a veterinary pathologist and become a "full-time" artist. Dave and I have decided that we will forego the financial security of my job in favor of...

I am the proud owner of two Julia Springer | convergent media art painted landscapes. I have them prominently displayed and I love them both! She has a wonderful feel for the light in the locations and the details are very lifelike. The colors are vibrant and so realistic. I enjoy looking at both of them and feeling that I’m there with the subjects of her work. They lift my mood, and I find that I seek them out just to experience what they show and represent in life. I highly recommend Julia’s work to others.

Prints of my work are available

Canvas, metal, acrylic, & paper archival quality prints available.

If I order online, how long will it be before I receive my print?
All prints are produced on demand, so please allow 1-2 days for production of greeting cards, and 3-4 days for prints to be produced and assembled before shipping. Transit times depend on the carrier (UPS, FedEx or USPS) and service selected. You will receive an email with tracking information when your order is shipped.
What size print should I choose?
As a rule, larger prints have more impact than smaller ones. Consider where you intend to hang the artwork, and where you would be most likely to stand while looking at it. The optimal viewing distance is equal to the diagonal measurement of the piece. Read my blog article for a more in-depth discussion.
What framing options are available for paper prints?

My open edition print fulfillment site offers a wide range of frames. In addition you may want to add a mat to enhance the work. Within the site you have the opportunity to preview your selected art with the frame and mat of your choice.

I want to hang my art in the bathroom - will it be affected by steam?

For steamy or damp atmospheres, such as kitchens, bathrooms, or even outdoors, I recommend choosing a metal print, or even considering a ceramic tile mural. Prints on aluminum are affected by moisture, although you should avoid placing them directly in the rain or where they will be impacted by shower heads. If placed outdoors in direct UV light, some fading will occur over time.

I'm thinking of ordering a large canvas; what if I don't like it in person?
All prints ordered through my print fulfillment service carry a 30-Day money back guarantee. Return it within 30 days of the order date and you will receive a full refund on the purchase price – no questions asked (shipping charges are only reimbursed in case of defective quality). Also remember that selected works are available as smaller prints at a considerably discounted price exclusively to members of the Collectors’ Club – these make great gifts and can also be used as a way to view a print “in person” prior to ordering a larger version.
Julia Springer has been featured in the WV Observer, the Shepherdstown Chronicle, the Spirit of Jefferson, and Fluent Magazine
